Seller Central vs. Vendor Central

At DataHawk, our customers can be on Seller Central, Vendor Central, or have no Amazon account at all.

Whether you're on Seller Central or Vendor Central, you can connect as many Amazon Advertising account as you want to DataHawk.

While Seller Central users can connect their SC account to DataHawk and access most of the data (e.g. sales) on DataHawk, Vendor Central users can't do so at this time.

Seller Central Users

Seller Central users can connect as many Seller Central accounts and Amazon Advertising accounts as they want.

Vendor Central Users

Vendor Central users can connect as many Amazon Advertising accounts as they want, but cannot connect their Vendor Central account per se.

Data Availability for Sellers vs. Vendors

Publicly available data points can be accessed by anyone, no matter whether they are selling on Amazon or not.

Advertising-related data points can be accessed by both Seller Central and Vendor Central users, with slight differences in terms of data access depth.

Exact sales-related data points can be accessed by Seller Central users only. Anyone can access sales estimates.

Data Access on Multiple Accounts

You can make additional integrations from the Integrations page in your workspace settings. There, you can see a list of all the connections you made.

The account-level dashboards allow you to access a dropdown picker with a list of all the existing integrations, allowing you to select the one you'd like to display data for.

When accessing sales or advertising-related data on a product level as a Seller Central user, DataHawk automatically fetches the data related to the product you're looking at by looking at the right Amazon account.
