Sources allow you to connect your Amazon data to your DataHawk workspace and are fundamental to enabling most DataHawk features. In fact, it is the first step of every DataHawk use case.

Basic Set up

Choose a data source amongst the ones available on the app. To read more about all the different sources, click here.

Select the Amazon data source of your choice depending on your eCommerce use case. The available Amazon sources are as follows:

Tracked Amazon Products

Track an Amazon product to monitor listing quality score, estimated sales, best seller rank, and other KPIs.

How to add Amazon Products as a Source?

In order to select Amazon Product as a Source from the Connections Overview page, click on “Add more”, you will be directed to a page wherein you can enter further information about the product you want to track.

Select the marketplace from the drop-down menu and choose among the available methods to track products.

  • Option 1: By ASIN
    You can enter one or several ASINs to track the corresponding products, separated by commas or one per line.

  • Option 2: By URL
    You can enter one or several URLs to track the corresponding products, separated by commas or by pasting one per line.

  • Option 3: By Search Result [Coming Soon]
    Soon, you will be able to enter a search term, and the top results from the corresponding marketplaces will be tracked automatically.

Select the project within which you would like to add the products. This enables you to organize better how you run your Product Research, Tracking, and Market Analysis within DataHawk, should you choose to do so. It is worth noting that projects are mapped to a single marketplace.

Additionally, you can click on the toggle on the right to automatically add the ASIN variations of the products and assign preset tags or create custom ones. By assigning tags, you can effortlessly search using DataHawk’s Advanced Filters to sort items based on the tags you select.

On clicking “Add Source,” you will be redirected to your tracked products list. The analytics for your tracked products will be processed and made available in a few minutes.

Tracked Amazon Keywords

How to add Amazon Keywords as a Source?

Tracking an Amazon Keyword as a source is very similar to tracking an Amazon Product.

Click "Add more" next to Amazon Keyword on the Connections Overview page to select it as a source and enter the required information about the keywords you want to track.

Select the marketplace from the drop-down menu and enter one or several keywords to track, separated by commas or one per line. Select the project within which you would like to add the keywords. Keep in mind that projects are mapped to a single marketplace. Assign preset tags or create custom ones.

On clicking “Add Source,” you will be redirected to your tracked keywords list. The analytics for your tracked keywords will be processed and made available in a few minutes.
