FAQs

How are the recommendations for Organic Search Optimization provided?

We provide you with a list of products based on three methods:

  1. Products that could sell more by ranking higher in important keywords: We look at your products' competitors and their Estimated Monthly Sales. Based on this, we select 10 products with the most potential for improvement against the competition. Read more about the Competitor Selection here and our EMS here.

  2. Products that do not rank in many keywords: We obtain the rank of all your products and compare it with the rank of the competitor products, post which we select 10 products that rank the lowest for those keywords and/or the ones that rank least often for that keyword.

  3. Products considered top Performers, i.e., the ones with the highest estimated sales in the local currency, so you can keep them updated and optimized for Organic Search.

How are the competitors for Organic Search Optimization obtained?

We use three sources to fetch potential competitors:

  • Through your products' pages on Amazon (competitors could have a sponsored or direct presence via the "Related to" section)

  • Through Keywords, either organically or through Ads, used by your and your potential competitors' products.

  • Through Categories, as any product present in the same category as yours is likely a competitor.

It is worth noting that we only use parent ASINs for computing and displaying competitors.

How are the recommendations for Competition Monitoring provided?

We analyze and provide you with a list of relevant competitors based on our in-house competitiveness score and present you with a list of products.

What are New and Emerging Competitors mentioned in Competition Monitoring?

We categorize the competitors as either "New" or "Emerging" depending on their reviews.

"New" are the competitors with less than 100 reviews we observed for the first time last week. "Emerging" are the competitors with more than 100 reviews that have just resurfaced in our competitive score list.

Both lists are replaced by new suggestions each week.

Why do you use reviews for New and Emerging competitors?

We select reviews because product pages and ASINs do not have an upload date. Review count is a better indicator of discovering product timelines on a digital shelf.

How are the recommendations for Ineffective Campaign Optimization and Top-performing Campaign Optimization provided?

The ineffective campaigns mentioned in the Insight have poor global RoAS rank. The top-performing campaigns, on the other hand, have a good global RoAS rank.
Both are computed by considering the combined ratio of targets’ profits over targets’ costs.
Since the actionable items are the targets themselves, we use the ROAS and CTR of each target to compute a custom efficiency score in terms of Ads spend for each target. We then use this score to give you our recommendation on each target, from stopping the ad spending on inefficient targets to being more aggressive on top-performing ones.
