Introduced as a part of Intelligence, Insights make it easier to discover opportunities, changes, and risks impacting your business and take meaningful action.

Insights are notifications paired with essential eCommerce recommendations and tailored, proactive and reactive suggestions for actions to operate your business on Amazon. Our insights allow you to skip any data analysis you would have to run otherwise so that you can redirect your attention to suggestions and relevant changes that affect the product's performance online and address them promptly.

The Insights module has three categories of Insights:

  • Opportunities: Insights that indicate where your products have room for improvement and guidance to work on it. These Insights are tailored to your workspace's data.

  • Warnings: Insights that suggest a corrective action or highlight a risk. These Insights are tailored to your workspace's data.

  • Good Practices: a curated list of eCommerce Essentials. They are promising approaches to start with to improve your metrics.

What are the Assignee and Status fields?

The status and assignee fields allow you to facilitate and ease collaboration between your teams. They work pretty much like they would on any task management tool.

Assignee

Once you receive new insights, you can assign them to yourself or any user in your workspace.

It helps you visualize who handles a particular insight and helps avoid treating information more than once. This makes it easier for you to work in teams, ensures accountability, and enables you to resolve insights efficiently.

Status

The status field allows you to track the progress of the insight. All new insights are set at “New” status by default. This can be manually changed to any of the following statuses:

  • In-progress: Used to reflect that someone is taking care of the insight.

  • Done: Used to reflect that the insight has been implemented or taken care of.

  • Expected: Used to reflect that the recommendation or situation presented within the insight is expected, and therefore, this insight was dismissed.

  • No Action Needed: Used to reflect that this insight was dismissed for other reasons and that there's nothing else to do here.

Smart Insights

Organic Search Optimization

The Organic Search Optimization Insight helps you improve your listings organically with an AI-generated list of products for which you should optimize SEO. This Insight is supported for all Amazon marketplaces and is delivered Daily. This type of Insight requires a Keyword Research report to be run. It is worth noting that the Keyword Research reports are currently only supported in the following marketplaces: US, UK, CA, AU, SG, IN, and AE.

Competition Monitoring

The Competition Monitoring Insight gives a competitive product weekly digest of products that directly compete with yours and allows you to evaluate potential threats and opportunities. This insight is supported for all Amazon marketplaces and is delivered Weekly.

Ineffective Campaign Optimization

This insight helps you review ineffective Sponsored Product Ad campaigns with a curated list of ad campaigns you can improve by reducing or stopping the ad spends on some of their targets, i.e., ASINs and Keywords.

This Insight is supported for all Amazon marketplaces and is delivered Weekly.

Top-performing Campaign Optimization

This insight helps you review top-performing Sponsored Product Ad campaigns with a curated list of ad campaigns you can improve by increasing the ad spends on some of their targets, i.e., ASINs and Keywords.
