Adding Keywords as Sources

Sources allow you to connect your Amazon and Walmart data to your DataHawk workspace and are fundamental to enabling most DataHawk features. In fact, it is the first step of every DataHawk use case.

Basic Set up

1. Go to the sources page

2. Click Add Source

3. Select the channel, Amazon or Walmart, then the Keyword source.

4. Select the method you would like to use

If adding Source via Keywords:

5. Select the marketplace you'd like to enter products from

6. Enter or paste the keywords you want to monitor

7. Optionally select one or multiple projects in which you want to organize the keywords

8. Optionally add tags or labels to help you better segment and filter through keywordslater on

9. Finish by clicking "Add Keywords"

If adding Source by importing CSV (recommended when adding more than 500 keywords):

5. Download the CSV template shown

6. Fill the CSV template according to the template's structure and formatting

6.1. Marketplace: domain name representative of the Amazon or Walmart marketplace

6.2. Keyword: the keyword you want to add

6.3. Projects (optional): Projects you would like to enter the keywords into - either existing ones or new ones that will get created. Use semicolons ";" to separate projects. Entries are case-sensitive.

6.4. Tags (optional): Tags you would like to associate the keywords to - either existing ones or new ones that will get created. Use semicolons ";" to separate tags. Entries are case-sensitive.

7. Save the file in the comma-separated values (CSV) format.

8. Upload the CSV

9. Finish by clicking "Add Keywords"

Keywords you track will then appear on a keywords list in your sources. You can add keywords from there too.
